The Michigan Institute for Data Science's first Data Science Night spotlights MDST, MAISI and STATCOM's collaborative efforts, featuring projects from MDST and STATCOM, ranging from deepfake detection to nonprofit data analysis. It also includes an AI ethical simulation workshop by MAISI, underscoring the significance of ethics and responsible data use in data science.

Join us on April 19th, 2024 at the Central Campus Classroom Building from 4:30 PM to 8:15 PM.

Michigan Data Science Team (MDST) is the largest data science club at the University of Michigan, dedicated to equipping U-M students with the skills needed for data-driven careers.

Statistics in the Community

Statistics in the Community of Michigan (STATCOM) is a graduate student organization that provides statistical consulting services to local non-profit organizations.

Michigan AI Safety Initiative

MAISI runs in-person cohorts of programs like AI Safety Fundamentals and Intro to ML Safety, as well as discussion meetings and social events. Both graduate and undergraduate students are welcome.
